#336 - 3Ds - Fish Tails

One of the most prominent New Zealand bands to be featured on the 90s list, and the prominence is rightly so. This is the sorta-title-track from their debut release, Fish Tales on Flying Nun. Laid the foundation for the slacker material that would follow in the next few years. Great band.

more from new zealand - so indie that it’s the first time I can’t find an adequate image. king of skronk apparently, but I don’t know what that means. Pretty cool 7” anyway. Yep.

#352 - The Renderers - Holiday In Dakota

Distinctly american sounding record from this christchurch band, and one of the last great releases on Flying Nun, before going on to do more great things on Siltbreeze in the 90s. Featuring Robbie Yeats of The Dead C and Verlaines on drums.
